At tri.x, we initiate every new project by providing an online draft manual. This manual includes up-to-date procedures that comply with statutory requirements and best practices. The manual also includes links to other valuable online resources, such as the Regulatory Framework, the tri.x Glossary, Mental Capacity Act and Practice Tools. We also provide links to Safeguarding Partnership/Board Procedures as required.
Accessibility and Formats
Our procedures are primarily web-enabled, ensuring easy access and navigation. The manual will also include downloadable PDF and Word versions of any documents that you provide us that are specific to your organisation.
Customisation and Branding
From the outset, your online manual will be customised to include your logo and name. The draft manual houses all template procedures created by tri.x, allowing key stakeholders to:
- Preview how the procedures will appear when live.
- Navigate the site to understand its functionality.
- Pinpoint any local documents required and determine their placement within the contents list.
Development and Tailoring
The manual’s development process involves refining the templates to meet specific local requirements. The procedures are provided in a suite of editable Word documents, accompanied by editing guidelines and a tracking document. This tracking document details all procedures in the manual, highlighting those that need local information or specific terminology. The document also facilitates updates to links to other websites or your intranet, and it can be used to include local document naming conventions and terminologies that may be unique to your organisation.
Support and Guidance
A dedicated tri.x Procedures Consultant will meet you on a regular basis to assist your team in integrating local protocols and practices into the manual. This collaboration with the tri.x Procedures Consultant ensures they are well-acquainted with local processes to offer optimal guidance and support for you and your team. Should a tri.x template not align with your specific requirements, it can be substituted with a bespoke local document in PDF format. Our extensive and experienced team of social care practitioners support each other and maintain the procedures in line with new or reviewed legislation, statutory guidance, case law or good practice.
Support is also given by your Lead Consultant on your communication strategy to ensure practitioners know where the online procedures manual will be available, launching the procedures manual and showing practitioners how to register for update alerts.
Comprehensive Inclusions
Each template procedure includes essential elements such as:
- Key website links to relevant information.
- Statutory guidance from the government.
- Access to local documents via the local Resource Library.
- Supplementary procedure links.
- Connections to your website or intranet.
Structured and User-Focused
The manual is structured into sections and chapters, catering specifically to user roles including managers, staff, other professionals, and manual users, guiding them on the required actions in various situations.
Resource Integration
Local documents provided by you in Word or PDF formats can be integrated directly into the manual’s contents list or added to the Resource Library within the Hub/Portal, as appropriate.
The tri.x Portal
The customer portal area is under your control and maintenance. This allows you to upload your own local resources at any time. Training, user guide and video guide are made available to your dedicated administrator. The portal area provides access to upload local documents to the local resources area, to set up Google Analytics reports and for the team managers to set up their team members with their own unique access for reading tasks.
